In 2001 a group of friends brought to life their vision of what a St. Lucian Party Band should be! St. Lucian Carnival would be forever transformed with the introduction of Just4Fun Carnival Band. Roston Taylor, Paula James and Perry Mason built the foundation of the arguably the best Carnival band in St. Lucia. Just4Fun provided revellers with a party band concept which translated to a very exciting carnival experience. This became the glue of how this group operated and year over year they continued making it something special and memorable.
Just4Fun is widely credited with the revival of the Jouvert tradition to St. Lucian Mas in the early 2000s. The band branded with its extremely popular Blue Devils concept reenergised this event with strong support from Windward & Leeward Brewery. Within the carnival community the band has a reputation for being organized, professional, and highly responsible in handling the affairs of its sponsors.
In 2011, the band has made reveller experience its number one priority. Veil Tobierre a seasoned carnival promoter, takes up the leadership role as band leader. He will bring together the passion of the Just4Fun Reveller with the creative talents of a J4F team that knows no boundaries in fulfilling a carnival experience.
